Footprint Contests and Sweepstakes - Standard Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all Footprint contests and sweepstakes.

General Rules

You agree that if you are the prize winner of a Contest or Sweepstakes, you may be required to sign a W-9 form and a Footprint “Winner Release Form” which includes, but is not limited to, the following:

i. confirming eligibility requirements;
ii. authorizing use of name, likeness, voice, hometown, etc. on Footprint’s website, social media channels, and other media outlets and in any and all publicity, promotion, or advertising;
iii. if applicable, Footprint shall own all survey results; and
iv. waiving any and all claims, causes of action, lawsuits or demands of any nature whatsoever, known or unknown, including without limitation personal injury, damages or other claims, loss or damages, that could possibly be asserted against Footprint or its employees, agents, officers, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors and assigns, arising in any way in connection with the Sweepstakes or Contest, announcement of the prize winner, or the Prize that was awarded.

 

How to Enter

To participate in a Footprint contest ("Contest") or sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”), you must comply with the rules and meet the requirements, which are posted on the applicable Footprint social media channel or website. If you meet the requirements and comply with the rules, you will be automatically entered to win the Contest or Sweepstakes (each, an “Entry”). Each individual is limited to one Entry. If you do not want to be automatically entered into the Contest or Sweepstakes pursuant to the terms of this section, you must email promotions@footprintus.com prior to the end of the Promotion Period and you will not receive an Entry to the Contest or Sweepstakes.

Promotion-specific Information

The following information for a particular Contest or Sweepstakes will be specified on the social media channel or website on which the rules and requirements for that Contest or Sweepstakes are posted:

• Eligibility requirements (e.g., legal residents of the 50 United States, including the District of Columbia and excluding Puerto Rico; employees and their families are not eligible; must be 18 or older; etc.);
• The dates and times during which a specific Contest or Sweepstakes will run (“Promotion Period”); 
• The date(s) the winner(s) will be selected; 
• Selection criteria (e.g., random drawing for a Sweepstakes or judges’ selection criteria for a Contest);
• The number of winner(s); and
• The prize(s) (“Prize(s)”) and the value of the Prize(s).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Sponsor may screen any or all Entries. Any Entry that the Sponsor deems, in its sole discretion and at any point in time, to violate the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions will be subject to disqualification.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

BY PARTICIPATING IN A FOOTPRINT CONTEST OR SWEEPSTAKES, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF FOOTPRINT, WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO CLAIM AMBIGUITY IN THE RULES, AND RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS FOOTPRINT AND ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, AND ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASEES”) FROM AND AGAINST ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS, OR ANY LIABILITY OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM OR ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR SWEEPSTAKES OR ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, MISUSE, OR NONUSE OF THE PRIZE THAT MAY BE AWARDED.

Additional Terms and Conditions

Entrants agree that any and all disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Releasees are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Contest or Sweepstakes related materials; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, including inability to access any website associated with a given Contest or Sweepstakes. No Prize substitutions, no cash equivalent, and no transfer or Prizes is permitted, except as allowed in the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Each winner of a Prize is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, including without limitation any applicable income taxes on the Prize and for any other expenses relating to the Prize or the use of the Prize. If a person refuses to sign a W-9 or a “Winner Release Form” when required by the Sponsor in order to receive a Prize, that person’s Entry will be disqualified, and their participation in the Contest or Sweepstakes will be terminated, and such person will forfeit any Prize. Participation in a Contest or Sweepstakes constitutes each entrant’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Standard Terms and Conditions 

Winners List or Rules Requests

If you would like a copy of a list of winners or a copy of the Contest or Sweepstakes’ rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

Requests must be received within one (1) week of the end of the relevant Contest or Sweepstakes. Vermont residents may exclude return postage.
